Privacy Policy

How Impressiko handles information across website visits, inquiries, audits, communications and client services.

Impressiko respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly, transparently and securely.

This Privacy Policy explains how Impressiko collects, uses, stores, shares and protects information when you visit our website, submit an inquiry, request a Shopify audit, contact us, subscribe to communications, become a client or interact with our services, content and project systems.

For this policy, “Impressiko”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Impressiko and the applicable Impressiko business entity responsible for the relevant service. By using the website or voluntarily submitting information, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of the website and information received from services you choose to use when communicating with us.

  • Name, email, telephone or WhatsApp number
  • Company, brand, website and business information
  • Service requirements, timeline, messages and project details
  • Files, billing information, communication preferences, feedback and any other information you voluntarily provide
  • IP address, browser, device, operating system and approximate region
  • Pages visited, session activity, referring source, campaign parameters, performance and error information
  • Information from WhatsApp, email, social, scheduling, analytics, advertising, payment, project-management, CRM and referral platforms

2. How We Use Your Information

We will not use personal information for a materially incompatible purpose without appropriate notice or consent where required.

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested consultations or audits
  • Assess requirements, prepare proposals and deliver Shopify services
  • Manage projects, updates, invoices, support and after-sales communication
  • Operate, secure, understand and improve the website
  • Measure marketing effectiveness without sending form content or direct identifiers to analytics tools
  • Prevent spam, misuse, fraud and security incidents
  • Maintain legal, accounting, tax and consent records
  • Send marketing communications where permitted and request feedback where appropriate

3. Grounds for Processing

Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may rely on consent, requested pre-contract steps, performance of a service agreement, legal obligations, legitimate business purposes that do not override your rights, fraud or security prevention, legal claims or another lawful ground. Where consent applies, it may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Lead Forms and Project Inquiries

Inquiry records may include your contact details, company, website, requested services, timeline, description, source page, referral source, campaign parameters and a timestamped record of consent. We use this to review your requirements, contact you and manage a potential business relationship. Submitting an inquiry does not create a client relationship or guarantee project acceptance.

5. Free Shopify Audits

Information submitted for a free audit may be used to review publicly accessible areas of a store, identify possible design, usability, conversion or performance issues, prepare recommendations and discuss relevant services. A free audit is an initial assessment and does not guarantee sales, conversion, search rankings or other results. We will not request store passwords through an ordinary audit form.

6. WhatsApp, Telephone and Email

When you contact us, we may retain contact details, message history, shared files or links, project requirements, follow-up notes and communication dates. Communication providers process information under their own terms. Do not send passwords, card details or highly sensitive information through WhatsApp or ordinary email.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, tags and local storage for necessary site functions, preferences, analytics and marketing. Necessary technologies support security, consent, sessions, form submission and fraud prevention. Where consent is legally required, analytics, preferences and marketing technologies remain disabled until selected. You can change choices through the persistent Cookie Settings link.

8. Analytics and Session Replay

If enabled, analytics or session-replay services may process device details, navigation, clicks, scrolling, errors and performance information. Session replay must mask form inputs, and we do not intentionally send names, emails, phone numbers or form content to analytics platforms.

9. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share only reasonably necessary information with service providers that support hosting, storage, databases, email, communications, analytics, campaign measurement, project management, CRM, payments, accounting, professional advice, approved project delivery, security and fraud prevention.

  • With your permission
  • To comply with law or lawful governmental requests
  • To protect legal rights or investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of business assets

10. International Data Processing

Some providers may process or store information outside India. We take reasonable measures to select reputable providers and protect information in accordance with applicable requirements. Privacy laws in the processing country may differ from those in your location.

11. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, accounting, tax, security and dispute-resolution needs. Retention periods are reviewed and may be shortened or extended where justified.

  • Unsuccessful general inquiries: up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication
  • Active client records: for the duration of the engagement
  • Completed project records: up to eight years, or longer where legally necessary
  • Invoices and accounting records: as required by tax and accounting law
  • Marketing consent: until withdrawal, followed by a limited suppression record
  • Analytics, security and spam records: for the configured or reasonably necessary period

12. Information Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, which may include encrypted transmission, access controls, authentication, role-based permissions, backups, updates, validation, rate limits, upload restrictions, monitoring and secure credential storage. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, and visitors should not submit confidential credentials through ordinary forms.

13. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of marketing; request grievance redressal; ask how data was used or shared; or nominate another person where legally permitted. Email hello@impressiko.com with enough information to identify the relevant records. We may seek reasonable verification and retain records where legally justified.

14. Marketing Communications

We may send marketing messages when you request information, subscribe, provide consent or applicable law otherwise permits. Promotional email should include an unsubscribe method, and you may opt out at hello@impressiko.com. Necessary transactional or project communication may continue.

15. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults capable of entering commercial arrangements. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information or direct behavioural advertising at children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information without appropriate authorisation.

17. Client and Portfolio Information

We display client names, logos, screenshots, testimonials or outcomes only where we have appropriate permission or another lawful basis. We do not publish confidential client information, private dashboards, customer data, credentials, unapproved metrics, logos or testimonials. Clients may contact us with concerns about displayed project information.

18. Testimonials and Reviews

We publish only testimonials or reviews we reasonably believe are genuine and authorised. Testimonials describe an individual experience and do not guarantee another client’s outcome. Where practical, a review may link to its original public source.

19. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use inquiry information for fully automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Automation may support spam detection, lead routing, analytics, validation, acknowledgements, scheduling and basic categorisation, while important business decisions involve human review.

20. Data Breaches and Security Incidents

If a personal-data incident occurs, we will investigate, contain and remediate it. Where law requires notification, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authority in the required manner and timeframe.

21. Grievance Redressal

Questions, complaints and privacy requests may be sent to the Privacy and Grievance Contact at Impressiko: hello@impressiko.com, WhatsApp +91 70427 98789, telephone +91 80621 79953 or alternate telephone +91 81785 25910.
